This festival is three days of Scottish fun, Scottish foods, Scottish music, a Clan Parade, the Highland Games Competition, Scottish Dancing, Youth Games, Border Collies and Sheep, Crafters Vendors & More.

Friday, June 13
Downtown Franklin, NC
- 6:00 – 9:30 p.m. – A kickoff parade down Main St., followed by the Ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee – Scottish for party) at the Gazebo on the corner of Iotla and Main St. in downtown Franklin. People are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets or both.
- 7:00 – 9:30 – The Ceilidh headliner band is Tuatha Dea.
Saturday, June 14
At the Macon County Fairgrounds (1436 Georgia Rd.)
- 9:00 Gates Open: There are three gates to purchase tickets
- Admission: Ages 12 and up: $15; Ages 6-11: $5; Under age 5: Free
- Bring your own chair
- Axe throwing
- Musician Jam Tent: guitars, ukeleles, fiddles, bodhran, dulcimers, tambourines, spoons, and wind instruments
- Honored Clan 2025: Hay
- Tartan Searches tent – Stop by and give your family information; you might have a clan. Children are encouraged to see what a clan is and put their tag on a boy or girl figure.
- Craft vendors in Building D at gateScottish and American food vendors will be offering hot food options.
- Two ice cream vendors plus Kona Ice.

- 10:00 a.m. – “Kirkin O’ The Tartan” Church Service at Franklin First Presbyterian Church

- Our Worship Service will include the Kirkin O’ the Tartans: wear your tartan, hear the bagpiper play, and hear our Presbyterian men sing “How Great Thou Art”. A luncheon in Tartan Hall will follow the service. All are welcome!
